ShapardResearch is now paying market research participants in cryptocurrency

There is no denying that cryptocurrencies are becoming more and more a part of our everyday lives.

Plus, they were created to give more portability to currency which makes them perfect for paying market research participants. With the largest and most representative panel of participants in the state of Oklahoma, ShapardResearch is now including cryptocurrency in its methods of paying participants in its research studies. New panelists will be able to select cryptocurrency as a payment method along side VENMO or a regular check in the mail, and existing panelists will be able to change to cryptocurrency from their current preferred method of payment.

In order to receive cryptocurrency, panelists will have to have a digital wallet established with COINBASE, which as of March 2021, was the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States by trading volume. Once the panelist has their digital wallet and participated in a particular study, ShapardResearch will send the participation fee to the participant's COINBASE wallet in a STABLECOIN known as DAI or USDC that tracks the exact value of the U.S. dollar, so the amount that is sent is the amount that is received and not subject to market fluctuations. Once the participant has the participation fee in their account, they can then transfer the amount to BITCOIN or a host of other cryptocurrencies of their choice.

Many panelists participate in near-monthly studies with ShapardResearch on their web-enabled cell phones and are paid $10 to take an online survey that can take about 10 minutes on average and be taken at their convenience. Some participate in other types of quantitative and qualitative research either in person or online and are paid $75 or more for about one hour and half of their time.
